Aprecio, solidaridad y pizza para el Papa en su cumpleaños (fotos)

El papa Francisco cumplió hoy 81 años y, aunque en el Vaticano no se celebran estas efemérides, ha recibido felicitaciones y se han organizado actos solidarios en su honor e incluso sopló una vela, pero sobre una pizza de 4 metros.

En el Vaticano no se celebra los cumpleaños sino las onomásticas pero sin embargo los mensajes de felicitación hacia el papa argentino se sucedieron, sobre todo por medio de las redes sociales.

Especialmente por Twitter, desde donde le expresaron sus mejores deseos autoridades como la presidenta de la Cámara de los Diputados, Laura Boldrini, o la alcaldesa de Roma, Virginia Raggi.

Este domingo, al asomarse a la ventana del Palacio Apostólico para el tradicional rezo del Ángelus, seguramente pudo ver una enorme pancarta que algunos fieles llevaron a la plaza de San Pedro y en la que podía leerse “Muchas felicidades Santidad”.

Cientos de fieles corearon su nombre y le felicitaron a lo que él, sonriente, respondió con un “muchas gracias”.

Por su parte el presidente italiano Sergio Mattarella se sumó a las felicitaciones y le agradeció sus mensajes sobre “la importancia de poner en el centro de la política a las personas y a la familia” y su frecuente defensa de la dignidad en el trabajo.

Y subrayó que, con sus viajes por todo el mundo, invita a “perseguir con coraje y determinación caminos de diálogo y de reconciliación para sanar las heridas sociales y superar las tensiones internacionales”.

Pero no todo han sido palabras sino, como el propio papa predica, también se ha pasado a los hechos en favor de los más necesitados.

Bajo el lema “Felicidades papa Francisco,” un grupo de estudiantes de Gastronomía organizó el sábado en Roma una comida a la que invitaron a personas desfavorecidas y en la que colaboraron la Diócesis de Roma y diversos entes, que ofrecieron los productos.

El artista urbano Maupal, autor de algunos grafiti romanos sobre el pontífice, también le deseó un feliz día con un dibujo plasmado en una tarta de una pastelería próxima al Vaticano y en el que le muestra cargando a sus espaldas un planeta agrietado y remendado.

Con su otra mano el papa sujeta una maleta en la que puede leerse la palabra “valores” y de la que asoma una bufanda roja y azul, los colores del San Lorenzo de Almagro, su equipo de fútbol.

Pero los protagonistas en este día fueron los más pequeños quienes: el papa comenzó el día con un encuentro con los niños del Dispensario Pediátrico “Santa Marta”, acompañados por su padres y voluntarios.

Ante ellos subrayó que la alegría de los más pequeños es “un tesoro” que hay que proteger, sobre todo en el ambiente familias, y recomendó hacerles hablar con los abuelos y los ancianos.

“Por favor, que no sean niños desarraigados, sin memoria de un pueblo, sin memoria de la fe, sin memoria de las muchas cosas bellas que ha hecho la historia. Sin memoria no hay valores”, consideró.

Los niños que acudieron a la audiencia, ataviados con trajes de cocineros, le sorprendieron con un globo con forma de 81 y una enorme pizza de cuatro metros de longitud con una sola vela que el papa sopló y apagó con la ayuda de estos improvisados chefs.

Los niños también estuvieron muy presentes durante el Ángelus, ya que el papa llevó a cabo la tradicional bendición de los “bambinelli”, pequeñas representaciones del Niño Jesús que los niños llevan cada año a la Plaza de San Pedro para que sean bendecidos.
